Bursary~!

Queued up to hand in my bursary today and ended up waiting for more than an hour. Haiz...in the end I didn't even managed to submit the documents properly because I lacked one or two other forms to fill in T_T...

Okay so now, I am going to whine about the sufferings I've been through. For a start, the air conditioner probably wasn't working as well as it should have. And, guess what? LOL...everyone's perspiring! Especially me. I swear, it was so warm and stuffy that it felt like I was being thrown into a room that has minimal ventilation and as stuffy as the sicken store room I have in my house.

After having to stand and wait for like an eternity, the queue finally progressed, only to be further stopped by another guy who has returned from printing the extra documents needed to submit. Well my oh my....I was thinking, oh crap, I have like CCA later, will I make it?? *looks around nervously*. Lol....haiz..blehhhh, in the end I still had to go to my CCA without having the documents for bursary submitted...darn.

It's okay, I'll try tomorrow.

Sweet dreams, darling, bloggy~

Rotten Banana!!

Mmm...LOL. Okay, 2 weeks ago, I've had two bananas in my bag for desserts after lunch. I ate one of it, and didn't know where the other went. I just left it as it was, thinking that I've already ate it. Well, guess what? It was squashed by my books/notes at was in the bottom of my bag, gosh. This morning, after reaching class, I attempted a search in my bag because there was this really gross smell coming out of it...and TADA a rotten banana that I don't even wanna look at. It smells like concentrated vinegar on a shirt that was drenched with perspiration and left in an enclosed area to rot away.

Gosh...the stench was devastating. My first thought was to empty the whole of my bag and then give it a good scrub in the toilet, second, throw the bag away. But, darn, I don't have enough bags to manage if I wash this one ><. The other bag that I have, is already soaked in soap water, due to the "teriyaki sauce leak ordeal." Grrr! I blame them for putting so much sauce into the packet of takoyaki box! orz. Oh well, that's another story so yeah.

Back to the topic, mm, after reaching home, I've searched the whole of my house for perfume, some kind of odour killing spray, bla bla bla. Whichever I thought potential of killing that
inresistable
stench. What worked best was the ANTI SCEPTIC SPRAYY!!! Woooooo~ Instant K and a O to the indescribable stench. But, well yeah, =/ that took out a lot of my spray haha...after attempting to dry it out, some of the stench came back, haiz, but oh well, it's pretty much faint now so erm..! HURRAY~

Ps. I'm still gonna wash my bag in the weekends.

Goodnights baggy~

Second day in USA [Califonia, LA]

Woke up early in the morning and waited at the lobby. The person who is transfering us to the bigger tour bus speaks like Peter Chao, seriously LOL xDDDDDD....omg omg! There are many many cars here on the road tooooo!! And on the way to the big bus, I watched the sun rise. What an awesome sight! Can't take any photos though... =/.

Arrived at the location where we are supposed to wait for the big bus that will drive us to LA. I heard that this place is a 'ChinaTown' like place, so the nearby restaurants are all Chineseee! Naise! Bought some breakfast there hehe....After eating, when we were queueing up for the bus, some girls caught my attention, they were wearing mini skirts with laced and socklings, the exact fashion we often see in Japan. This small group of Japanese sat two seats infront of me and I could hear their conversation clearly from where I was!! Ahhhh!! xD...Looking at the sky, I thought of many things that might be happening in sg and went a little depressed, but oh well...orz..

The climate is really dry, so my lips started to crack orz..bleed..><....I got this urge to move forward to talk to the Japanese hahahaha!! Like in Jap xDD..but don't dare to lol...orz..

Waiting on the bus now at a stop for a customer to arrive, coz one person is late haha...so the whole lot of us are waiting for that person to reach...If I'm not wrong that person who is taking the taxi here is caught up in traffic jam, really eat up a lot of our time sia sian...xD

Diao, the late person sat was allocated a seat next to me lol...orz...he looks pretty apologetic for being late though.. o o. Looks Chinese, I wonder if he speaks Chinese or Japanese. On the bus to our early lunch, we've passed through many awesome looking mountains that we don't get to see in SG LOL..really beautiful and magnificent sia! And the civilisation below makes it look like the ideal pictures we often see in a beautiful drawn out picture with sunset or something hahaha!

The ride was pretty awkward since we haven't chatted. As in the stranger and I...lol. I just felt like saying, "Hi, where you from?" I think he's a Chinese afterall!!! After around 1 and a half hour of sleep, we've arrived at our first stop for an early lunch. Many of the tourist went for this Chinese Cuisine while our family and the Japanese family went slightly further down towards the "IN-N-OUT Burger" restaurant!, I swear, their fries are superb! Oh it was written on the piece of advertisment that their fries were homemade! *Licks lips*, yum yum. No wonder that extra unique kick that I've never get to taste xD.

We are now passing by the dessert area towards the Grand Canyon! The dessert is extremely vast and there are many many dessert plants!! Wooo, cactus and succulent plants xDDD...the locals actually plant their own plants so as to prevent the whole amount of sand to get blown around. (No sandstorm ftw!). The Grand Canyon we're going to has totally no reception wooo! Sounds pretty scary ><...what if there's a murderer or maybe an alien there D:

Reached Las Vegas, like finally!! The bus picked up 2 more customers while we used this chance to visit the nearby restroom and take a peek around the Las Vegas in de day~ This city looks really really happening! And it's kinda wild LOL...

We've reached the Grand Canyon after a few more hours of bus ride, and it's freaking amazing! I've only seen places with this scenery in movies and dramas, but Oh My God! This is such a sight! It's like this really really big gap in between two huge mountains, unfortunately it was freezing out there with wind blowing a few kilometers per hour, so I couldn't take many good photos ); . We walked to the edge of the cliff to take photos, I felt really intimidated cause it was super high up and that I couldn't really open my eyes because of the wind ): , my stupid brother almost tripped and fell off the cliff, what an idiot grrr! >_<@!@

Next, we went to the 'Corner Point' where we took photos and waited for the sun to set! It was another sight to behold! Ahhh!! Really really niceee! We took a jump shot err...I think we did, can't remember ><...too coldd brrrr....after taking photos and after watching the sun set, we went for dinner at the '6 star hotel' we are going to spend the night at LOL @@!!! I bought BBQ Pork Spare-ribs combo set! They have this really tasty double chocolate cookie! It's like omg omg!! *nom nom nom* , took my mum's cookie too hehehe....oh and there was performances played by a few 'cowboys' there haha! After finishing our meal we went back to our room. By then the sky was already extremely dark, totally no lights at all, endless darkness...The only lights was from the stars and our rooms.. Stars are scattered around the sky, some, brighter than the others. That's probably the horoscope stars I guess xD. I wonder where is the horoscope cancer.... We asked around on which is the best spot to watch the night sky, after attending the so call 'campfire' which was pathetic like gg, we went to the area behind our rooms, where there was no lights AT ALL! Seriously, I SCREAMED literally, it was such a magnificent sight! The dark curtain with countless jewels littered everywhere, it was spectacular. Really, this view is PRICELESS. You can never get to experience this anywhere else!!! What an awesome place, I'm glad I stayed overnight at the Grand Canyon....

First day in USA. [Califonia, Las Angeles]

The image I always had in mind for USA was this very barren and modernized city with a massive amount of factories and almost a concrete garden. To my pleasant surprise, it was a rather pretty place, there were plants that I've not seen before in Singapore that covers a variety of colors. There were many spots of flower and bushes plantation and lots and lots of tall tall palms! Nope, no tall tree, the rain tree we have in Singapore only survives in our climate!

After leaving our luggage in the newly checked in hotel room (Howard Johnson Hotel) , we went about exploring the nearby shops. I felt really, really sleepy, *yawns*. Since it was like around 10pm in Singapore. The difference in time was gnawing at my nerves...orz.

Not long after, something caught my eyes at the clearance shelve in the shoe section, it's this converse allstar shoe that looks a splendid, if we don't include the almost blackened sides and top..but oh well it costs only like 7USD. My god, that's a cut! I think I could do something about that after I reached back home... I've bought a dairy to write on and also a number of colored pens. The pens were cheap, and was meant for drawing, but I wrote with it...so I think I pretty much kill my dairy with my ugly scribblers and the 'not so nice' colored pen. Had lunch at the Pizza Hut, my gosh, their food is so much better than what we can find in Singapore. An almost 2x better and more value compared with the food we have in our local Pizza Hut outlet..

When we were looking for our way back home, we got lost in this place, it was pretty big and the streets were kinda of like confusing so...yeah..orz. We kept walking and walking and walking, until we realised that we were actually walking the perimeters of this area, ehh pretty huge place..

Oh oh! We found their 'NTUC' , it's called the 'Farmer's Market', most vegetables are organic and there are a whole lot variety of greens and fruits to choose from! Some I've not even seen before! We stocked up on bottled water, vegetables, muffins, bread, chips, icecreams and of course, our homemade dinner ingridients!

[Expected + unexpected finds]
The icecream brands like Ben's and Jerrys and Haagan Daz cost like so freaking cheap!! We bought like 2 massive tubs back home xD! For a price of 3.55USD for BnJ and 2.99 for Haagan Daz! Super neat rightttt! The salsa and other canned sauces we found there were all at a price of 99cents..LIKE SERIOUSLY! Can we even find this kind of price in Singapore...Singapore is just overpriced );

Trip to USA. [Adventure on the plane, part two]

The second flight was from Narita airport to USA, and this trip takes approximately erm...13 hours?? I was bored to tears, like literally! There weren't any entertainment on the flight, unless the A2 sized tv screen that was playing the same series over and over again, glued on the far end of the middle wall, is counted.

Well, I've managed to pass time by listening to classical music through the constant shaking and noisy surrounding....till dinner wooo, there were two choices, a beef set and a teriyaki set. Usually I'd pick the teriyaki set haha...but being me, I guess, maybe I wanna try more of the meat, 'beef', since I don't really eat it often. To my surprise, the beef set wasn't even half as bad as I imagined, it was pretty awesome. Minced beef with tomato bits, onions, some really fragrant herbs and a pinch of black pepper, xDDD. I can't really tell which kind of herb they used though.. =/, I think I've got a nose block or something ahhhh, ahhhhhhh~

Oh, I've forgotten to mention that the flight was delayed, so we kinda arrived like half a hour later..I can kinda of like imagine the face of the driver who was waiting for us outside the airport xDDD. Well, not much of a surprise, his face was as black as the charcoal stick I used to shade with! xD.

The security was super duper tight, as in, to enter USA, their 'booths' were all armed with finger print testing and picture taking to match with our old photos and details, macham CSI okay! LOL! Haaaahaaaa!!

[Something different]
The cubical walls in USA is so high up, omfg, I swear, I was really shocked when I entered their toilet. To add on! They actually have small gaps at the doors that allows people to see into the cubical, okay, wtf. I'm really frightened LOL..

(Back in SG)
Feeling really really energetic at the night now! Totally adepted to USA's timeline...orz.

Trip to USA. [Adventure on the plane]

The airplane was extremely shaky when it took off. Probably because of the rain outside...mm..well it was pretty scary actually, for a second I thought I'd not make it back alive lol...there were like people screaming because of the violent shakes and stuff. Pretty much show how bad the shake was huh LOL..

Anyways, I made it back alive. @@. On board the first long long flight of erm, probably around 7 hours, I've managed to pass time by watching a total of 3 movies. The movies are "The King's Speech, 30 days and Nightmare at Elm's road." The last two was freaking scary LOL..especially the Nightmare at Elm's road. The king's speech was pretty dull and boring at the start, pretty much fell asleep and watched it on and off..lol.

Ah, for breakfast they served this really awesome breakfast. Two choices to choose from, Western breakfast or chicken hor fan. The quantity was quite little D; , but the quality was better than what I've expected hehe! Since my bro's gf couldn't finish her share of the breakfast, I ate it for her, so yeah...pretty much hit the spot LOL.

When we've alighted from the first plane which is at Tokyo [Narita Airport] , we bought ramen, and katsu don, super nice can!! Just that the soup base was too salty for my taste haha.. oh oh!! They have this really nice cool devices where when the food is ready, it will start to vibrate to alert you that the food is ready for collection. Pretty neat heh!

Have been eating the entire day, haiz, I think I'm gonna put on a few extra pounds orz.

I noted that the babies were extremely adorable at such cold countries, the cheeks, they are rosy red!!!

Feeling a bit sick, I wonder if it's the jetlag or the food I ate..oh well..

Goodnight my blog
